Born in 1982 in Algiers, Yasmine Chouikh studied literature, sociology and educational sciences. She worked as an actress in "La Citadelle" (1987) by Mohamed Chouikh her father, in a television film by Djamel Bendedouch in 1990, then in "Hamlet of Women" (2004) by Mohamed Chouikh. She writes in the cultural page of the daily newspaper "L'Autentique" and works as a journalist as well as presenting a cinematographic television programme on national Algerian television since 2005. She has written seven short film scripts, and directed one of them, "The Door (El bab)". She is the art director of the International Taghit Short Film Festival (Algeria) and is in charge of short films at the International Arab Film Festival of Oran (Algeria).
"Until the end of time" (2017) is her first Feature narrative.

سيرة ذاتية لمخرح الفيلم

وُلدت ياسمين شويخ في عام ١٩٨٢ بالجزائر. درست الأدب وعلم الإجتماع وعلوم التربية. عملت كممثلة في "القلعة" لمحمد شويخ في عام ١٩٨٧، و في فيلم تليفزيوني لجمال بينديدوش في عام ١٩٩٠ ثم في "هاملت المرأة" لمحمد شويخ في عام ٢٠٠٤. علاوة على ذلك فإنها تكتب في الصفحة الثقافية بالجريدة اليومية l'autentique و تعمل كصحفية و كذالك كمذيعة لبرنامج تلفيزيوني معني بفن السينما في التلفاز الجزائري المحلي منذ عام ٢٠٠٥. كتبت سبعة سيناريوهات لأفلام قصيرة وأخرجت أحدهم و هو "الباب". و كذلك هي المخرجة الفنية لمهرجان تاغيت الدولي للفيلم القصير (الجزائر) و هي المسئولة عن الأفلام القصيرة مهرجان أوران الدولي للفيلم العربي (الجزائر).
