Isabelle Staron-Tutugoro is an artist, painter and printmaker, from New Caledonia. Isabelle was born in Saint-Symphorien-sur-Croise, a village near Lyon (France). When she was 22, she travelled to New Caledonia and fell in love with nature's colours and lights. She decided to set up in New Caledonia. Her artworks are really close to the Kanak culture and she especially compose around petroglyphs, Kanak bamboos and Lapita pottery.
