DESERT HIGHWAY PICTURES is a Cairo-based production company headed by filmmaking team, A.B. Shawky and Dina Emam. The company was founded in 2014 with the aim to discover hidden stories regardless of origin, and present them to global audiences. The company's first project, Yomeddine, had its world premiere in the Main Competition at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
