There is no other way to provide the isolated populations of the deep southern part of Algeria's Sahara than cross one of the most unmerciful desert of the world. Every month courageous men, the "road hauliers of happiness", leave Béchar, à town located 700 km at the southwest of Algiers for Timinaouine near the Malian border. The caravan goesaccross harsh and georgous landscapes. This is an eleven-days journey, which we share with the life of such ruthless drivers and during which one must face ruthless obstacles and harshness, a crossing punctuated with weird encounters and a lesson of modesty towards one of this documentary's figures : the Sahara.
