Moroccan Film Director, Screenwriter and Producer.

Abdeslam KELAI (عبد السالم الكالعي) was born in Larache, Morocco, in 1969, and began his filmmaking career with the short film Happy Day (2003). He has directed several featurelength films for television, including Majda, Les Hommes et la mer, Eaux noires, La Dame de l'aube, which won the prize for Best Television Film at the Amman Television Festival, and Amour et colère and Le Silence de la mémoire, both of which won the Grand Prize at the Meknès Television Festival. He made his feature-length cinema debut with Malak (2012), which won numerous awards. Goldfishes (2022) is his second feature film for cinema.

عبد السالم الكالعي مخرج وكاتب سيناريو ومنتج مغربي ولد سنة 1969 بمدينة العرائش. بدأ مسيرته المهنية سنة 2003 بإخراج فيلمه القصير الأول يوم سعيد. أخرج العديد من الأفلام الطويلة للتلفزيون منها ماجدة و الرجال والبحر و مياه سوداء و سيدة الفجر الذي فاز عنه بجائزة أفضل فيلم في مهرجان عمان للفيلم التلفزيوني بالأردن. كما فاز فيلماه الحب والغضب و صمت الذاكرة بالجائزة الكبرى لمهرجان مكناس للدراما التلفزية. نال فيلمه الطويل الأول مالك، الذي أخرجه سنة 2012، العديد من الجوائز في مهرجانات وطنية ودولية. أسماك حمراء (2022)هو فيلمه الروائي الطويل الثاني
