The Centre for Creative Arts on the Durban campus of the University of Natal presents four contemporary cultural festivals annually that are cornerstone fixtures on the South African arts calendar. These include two major literary awareness projects, the Time of the Writer and the Poetry Africa festivals, along with South Africa's leading film festival, the Durban International Film Festival, and the Jomba! Contemporary Dance Festival.
