Violeta Ayala was born and raised in Bolivia and later moved to Sydney.
Together with Dan Fallshaw, she has made the short documentaries "Between the Oil and the Deep Blue Sea" (06) and "A Vegan in the Meat Aisle" (07). "Stolen" (09) is her first feature documentary.
