While studying in Ballarat, Teo begun working on a music project which would showcase East Timorese music from its ancient traditions through to its modern derivatives.
The CD, entitled Ita Nian Rasik, or'Our Own' includes songs of lament for those who have fallen in the struggle for independence, as well as songs of celebration and fun.
