Sunny Dolat is a hotelier by profession, a freelance stylist and he currently runs Chico Leco; an online Kenyan fashion blog and store. He also works at The NEST Arts Company as programs officer and events manager.
He wears many hats. Apart from styling, he also designs clothes, he is a buyer for Chico Leco and he was once The Tribe's Brand Ambassador.
Sunny always knew that he wanted to work in the fashion industry. In the beginning, he wasn't really sure where in fashion he wanted to work. One time, a friend of his who is a photographer, called him asking if I would like to style his shoot. Sunny was hesitant at first but then his friend insisted that he should try. From the moment he got on set, he instantly fell in love and that it was his fit.
His highlights in the fashion industry include being the lead stylist for City Models Africa campaign which is high fashion model Ajuma Nasenyana's modeling agency where he was in charge of all the styling for their launch, media and print adverts.
He has also worked with Town and Country with Sophie and the rest of the team and also in Diani and The Masai Mara with Julian Knight.
