Steve Kivutia is an an audio engineer, music producer and Special Projects Manager at Ketebul Music, an organization whose mission is to identify, preserve, conserve and promote the diverse music traditions of East Africa.
He joined Ketebul Music in 2005 after meeting Tabu Osusa through a friend who sang in Tabu's band.
Steve started out as a typical 'bedroom producer,' and later developed his skills at Ketebul Music first as an apprentice working under experienced producers and engineers, before joining the organisation as a fully fledged engineer and producer.
He is now one of Ketebul Music's most respected sound engineers and a valued member of the Singing Wells team in his role as Project Manager.
He is also a freelance multimedia designer, specialising in graphic design.
