Sherif EL-BENDARY is a director, screenwriter and producer.
He is known for AT DAY'S END (2008), ON THE ROAD TO DOWNTOWN (2011), CURFEW (2011) and ALI, LA CHÈVRE ET IBRAHIM (2016).

Egyptian Filmmaker.

He was born in Cairo in 1978, graduated from the Applied Arts college in 2001 and worked as a textile engineer. He participated in many theatrical productions at the university theatre as well as many collective art exhibitions. He joined the Higher Cinema Institute to study directing in 2002, and worked as assistant director for many commercial feature films in Egypt. Later on he directed several short films as part of his training at the Cinema Institute. In 2006, he signed his first documentary "Six Girls" and his first short fiction, "Rise and Shine" ("Sa'et asary"), selected in competiton the same year in Montpellier.
