Naila Edghill began dancing at the age of six when she began ballet with Heather Henderson-Gordon but due to location switched teachers to join The La Chapelle Creative Workshop. Here she did modern, ballet and folk dance. She performed in all the Christmas and Easter concerts. At age eleven Naila along with fellow dancer Danielle Alexis entered Twelve and Under and placed first in the preliminary round but did not advance to the semi-final round that year.
