Mohammed Latrèche, born in 1973 and originally from Sidi-Bel-Abbès, a town in western Algeria, came to continue his studies in France in 1992 (Political Sciences in Saint-Denis).

"In search of Emir Abd El-Kader" (2004) is his first documentary film, made after his short fiction film "Rumeur, etc" (2003). Mohammed Latrèche is also a producer and distributor within SORA, a company he created in 2003 in Algiers. He divides his life between France and Algeria.
