Joe Bilbu is a local painter based in Suva, Fiji. He is originally from Papua New Guinea but moved to Fiji to marry and have a family. Fiji is his second home since 1999.
Joe is also a graphic designer by profession. He has designed clothing such as Bula shirts, t-shirts, surfwear and streetwear for both men and women.
He started his art career by joining the Western Art and Craft Society to exhibit his paintings. Since then he has had exhibitions at different resort hotels and has won various awards.
