Jahman is trained as an actor, dancer, Theatre Director;
with special bias in Dramatic Theory and Literary Criticisms. Since 1987 he has written on the Arts, Culture and media as a staff of The Guardian Newspaper and in many international and local publications and websites. He was Arts, Culture and Media Editor of
The guardian between 1992 and 2001. He was Deputy Editor The Guardian 2001 to 2003. He was appointed Edtor of The Guardian on Sunday in 2003. In 2005 the additional responsibility of birthing and editing The Guardian Life magazine, was added to his office as
editor of The Guardian on Sunday.

He is also a Culture Activist who is part of the Committee for Relevant Art, CORA, that has organized the quarterly Art Stampede aka Artists Parliament since June 1991. Currently he is the programme Director/ Chairman of the CORA, which won the Prince
Claus Foundation's 10th anniversary award for Cultural Debate in 2006.

The CORA programme also includes a yearly
. Lagos Book and Art Festival, which is directed by the Programme Chairman
. The Monthly Arthouse Forum, which focuses on issues of interest in the arts and culture sector of Africa
. The quarterly Art Stampede - a culture debate session featuring key artistes from across Nigeria
. The Lagos Cinema Carnival... an annual open air festival of film screening and discussion... among other programmes.

Anikulapo has also served on many occasions as part of the organizing committee of the Nigerian Music Award (NMA) of the Performing Musicians Employers of Nigeria, PMEAN, the Fame Music Award, FMA (of the Fame magazine) as well as the AMEN Award of the national Encomiums among other music and movie related award
projects.

He has been involved in many international programmes supervised by several international organizations. For instance he served as a member of the Culture sub-Committee of the Tony Blair Commission for Africa.
Member of the Culture Review committee of the Commonwealth Foundation; Resource person for UNESCO review of Cultural Policies.. as well as on many Nigerian culture programming committees.
He has traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, Asia and parts of America.

Jahman Oladejo Anikulapo studierte Theaterregie, dramatische Theorie und Theaterkritik an der Universität Ibadan, Nigeria. Er arbeitet als Schauspieler, Regisseur und Produktionsmanager. Anikulapo ist seit 1987 als Kulturjournalist beim nigerianischen Guardian tätig, seit 2003 Herausgeber von The Guardian on Sunday. Er begründete und leitet die Veranstaltungen von CORA (Committee for Relevant Art), dazu gehören Filmfestivals, Poetryslams, Theateraufführungen, Austellungen, Konzerte, u. a.
