In 2013 Iona relaunched the "Kikoti" line for KikoRomeo. Meaning "The Place Where Life Began" in Maa, the Maasai language, she set about creating an African fast fashion line for teenagers like herself. Passionate about animals and conservation, she linked with #HandsOffOurElephants campaign. Each style is named after an elephant, and a percentage of sales goes to the anti-poaching campaign. Iona was born in Kenya and has been brought up between rural Scotland and Nairobi. Having been a fashion apprentice from early childhood, she is now doing a Foundation Course in Art and Fashion at Central St Martins in London. Her other passion is modelling.
