Director Hardi Hassan grew up in Erbil, in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. He began acting in a film for the first time at the age of 13. After a few years, Hardi wrote and directed "+18 ans", his first short film. He has worked in several international and local films in Kurdistan and Iraq.
