In 2013, she beat 26 other finalists from 11 countries to win the coveted 'Television News Bulletin Award' at the CNN Mutichoice African Journalists Awards. Gifty has interviewed a lot of high-profile personalities, including former Presidents of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kuffour.
