French Sociologist, researcher and writer.

Fabien LEBRUN is a Sociologist, researcher and writer (author of several essays).

Member of the magazine Illusio, he is the author of "On achève bien les enfants. Écrans et barbarie numérique (Le Bord de l'eau, 2020) and Barbarie numérique. Une autre histoire du monde connecté (L'Echappée, 2024, Preface by Alain Deneault, Foreword by Denis Mukwege).
Researcher in social sciences at the University of Nantes (France), he defended in 2016, his doctoral dissertation on the relations between capitalism and digital in the last twenty years.
Fabien Lebrun deals with the ecological and geopolitical impacts of new technologies as well as the educational and ethical issues of digital.

Activist, he is a member of the association Survie Loire-Atlantique.
