Senegalese journalist, Film director and producer.
Diabou BESSANE is a journalist, director and producer.
She is known for the films "Les Mamans de l'indépendance (2012, Director/ Screenwriter/ Producer), "Au nom de la liberté de presse" (2014, Director/ Screenwriter/ Producer).
She worked as a journalist for 2S TV (Dakar) and Africable. Diabou Bessane teaches gender studies at Dakar University.
She founded her own film production company (Féline Productions, Dakar).
