Laurence GLÉLÉ
Cornélia Laurence GLÉLÉ is a journalist, film critic and film documentary director. She studied journalism at the Institut Supérieur des métiers d'audiovisuel (ISMA) in Cotonou, Benin. She is a documentary filmmaker, blogger for Ecranbénin since 2017 and freelance at the Benin Association of Social Marketing since 2015.
Wrote and directed two short documentaries. Les tam-tams du silence (2016) is her first film.
Her second short, Blanc-Noir et Heureux (Black White and Happy) directed in 2017 won the 2017 ISMA Best
Documentary Film Award and the Stylo d'or du documentaire at First short 2018; it was selected at 2018 Lagunimages festival (Benin) and 2018 Mis Me Binga (Cameroon).
She is Alumna Berlinale Talents at Durban 2018 where she received the 11th Talents Durban "Talents Press" Recognition Award. Cornélia is writer at Africiné Magazine (Dakar) since 2018.
