Christiana de Souza is a native of Ouidah. Trained at the Institut Supérieur des Métiers de l'Audiovisuel (ISMA-Benin), "Gbaka, Mon job" awarded as best documentary of the year 2018, at ISMA. In 2019, she directed "Le Sel de Djegbadji" which was also awarded as the best documentary of 2019.
