(I established and own FilmAfrica which is a media and research consultancy firm with a bias to film industry especially in content development and distribution)
Under FilmAfrica- Kenya, I consult for foreign missions in Kenya on audiovisual matters in the Eastern Africa.
I have published the first issue of the annual "Audiovisual guide for Eastern Africa" which has been circulated in the Eastern Africa region.
Vice Chairman of the East Africa Filmmakers Forum
I'm responsible of creation of forums for networking and lobbying for Government support for Eastern Africa Filmmakers and Coordinating film forums within the regional film Festival. I'm currently working on the formation of a union for Eastern African Producer Association.

Formulating and implementing of the festival programs and work-plans which involves incorporating other stakeholders. Organized three edition of the Kenya International Film Festival.
Carried out festival appraisal and report writing to the program sponsors

.2008. Attended a film critic workshop for Journalist in Nairobi, Kenya

2005 2009- Managing Director, FilmAfrica-Kenya - A media and research consultancy firm involved in capacity building with offices in Nairobi and a network in Eastern Africa.
-FilmAfrica has researched and documented material on the audiovisual industry in Eastern Africa
-Compiled and published the Audiovisual guide for Eastern Africa
-Carried out studies on the Music Collective Management societies and made recommendation to the relevant stakeholders on how to increase efficiency
-Researched and documented the state of Kenya Film Industry, a project that was commissioned by the Embassy of France in Kenya
-Carried out a survey on the broadcast stations in Kenya
