Carole FILIU is a daughter of black feet, from Algiers and Tiaret.
Graduated from the Bordeaux School of Journalism in 2009, she first worked for the regional newspaper Sud Ouest and then for its website, SudOuest.fr. For two years, she wrote, directed and edited the web-documentary "Fatea (Women at work in Algeria)" made up of nine portraits of women throughout Algeria.
