BIO
I am a multi-skilled, writer, director and edit producer. I have worked in TV and film production for almost a decade, working for a range of high profile international broadcasters including RTÉ and Investigation Discovery.
I have also worked for a number of leading TV and Film Production companies including Blinder Films and October Films, assisting on high-end drama and docs.
For over the last year, I have been working for October Films on a number of their Investigation Discovery crime series starting as an AP and moving swiftly into Story and Edit Producing.
My debut feature, "Walking with Shadows", premiered this October at the BFI London Film Festival 2019. It attracted quite a lot of press interest and was featured on media outlets such as ‘Women and Hollywood', Screen International and on BBC Radio.
Prior to this, my short film, "Lula" gained multiple awards and nominations internationally from festivals including London Short Film Festival, The Imperial War Museum Film Festival, Galway Film Fleadh and Newport Beach International Film Festival, California. This year, "Lula" was used as a case study for sound and visual perception in cinema during Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2019.
Having edit produced and directed both factual and drama, I have developed a keen sense of narrative storytelling, an ability to communicate and collaborate very efficiently and directly with editors (and other crew) and am quick to address issues and feedback from producers, whether this is reworking structure, trawling through transcripts and rushes for that key piece of dialogue or visual moment and also being able to source archive or other useful materials when time is of the essence!
I pride myself on my disciplined work ethic, creative thinking, my attention to detail and also my easy-going nature which helps to keep a relaxed atmosphere in pressurised situations. I would love an opportunity to meet and discuss how best I might help with your latest project.
