Andrew Kayanu is a wonderfully gifted young painter working out of the Central Province in Papua New Guinea. Andrew's restrained and carefully crafted interpretations of tribal celebration display an outstanding and highly individual style.
Andrew's work ranges from large, traditional pieces, to iconic representations, to small detailed selections. The colours he uses span from a deep brown, to bright purple, to dark maroon, and served to tie the subjects together in his work.
