Background
In October of 1990, Paul Maltais created CinéFête with Rock Demers, the Canadian producer of the well-known series of children's feature films "Tales for All / Contes pour tous". Paul's mission was to bring these wonderful films to the educational market.
In 1994, he became sole owner and has continued in his mission to provide quality multilanguage films to the non-theatrical market across Canada and more recently into the United States.
Originally, our catalogue was composed of 10 full length features films. Today, you will find over 1500 titles in French and over 500 titles in English with some Spanish and other language versions.
Our Producers
We represent leading independent producers in Canada and several from Europe, such as Pixcom International, Zone 3, InformAction, La Fête, Vic Pelletier Productions, Macumba International, Marathon, Point du Jour, CNDP, French titles from Dorling Kindersley and BBC and many others.
Conclusion
We will continue to build on the reputation that we have acquired within the educational community and on the confidence we have established with our producers.
