Since 2023, Pour l'art pour l'Afrique wishes to support and highlight emerging contemporary artists from the African continent, its diaspora, and Afro descendants by offering them the opportunity to apply for the Prix Traversées africaines.
The artist whose project is chosen by a qualified jury will be rewarded with an exhibition at the Mariton gallery in the city of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine in May 2025 during the Traversées africaines course and a grant to support artistic production and research of up to €3,000.
