Do you have a tightly edited series of contemporary photography dealing with an African subject matter? Are you ardent to present this work internationally?

These are the questions that Piclet – a hand-picked online directory of photographer's portfolios asks, in their current and 5th open call, along with an invitation to submit work before the March 1, 2015 deadline.

Winning portfolios and their authors, will be presented in the POPCAP'15 travelling exhibition , the annual catalogue as well as an inclusion in Piclet's directory.

Since first launching in 2009, the prize has grown to include more international exhibition venues and a far-reaching pool of jurors which now comprises curators, photographers, publishers, theorists and critics.

For the 2014 edition, the five winners saw their works shown at 7 open-air installations at photography festivals in European and African metropoles – from Addis Ababa to Lagos, and from Dublin to Cape Town and more…

Abidjan based photographer, Joana Choumali, whose series - Hââbré, The Last Generation won one of the five coveted spots offers this reflection.
