REMINDER : CALL FOR PROJECTS
Do you have a documentary, fiction or series project in development? The call for projects to participate in Les Ateliers de Grand-Bassam in Ivory Coast is open until 30 May 2024.
Les Ateliers de Grand-Bassam, an extension of the Ouaga Film Lab, is a film development lab dedicated to African filmmakers. By offering a space for exchange, training and creation, the Ateliers are committed to supporting and promoting diversity and excellence and to the emergence of new talent with new artistic proposals. We strongly encourage passionate and creative jumpers, authors, directors and producers to submit their projects and join us on the shores of the beach at Grand-Bassam, a historic UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For this 2024 edition, the call for projects is open to all countries on the African continent, for feature film projects (fiction or documentary) and series projects. A total of 10 projects by 20 directors and producers will be selected for the residential phase, which will take place from 8 to 15 September 2024 in Grand-Bassam in Ivory Coast.
At the end of the Lab, a number of writing residency grants in both Africa and Europe will be awarded to the best projects.
