MEDIAWAVE International Film and Music Festival is excited to announce the call for entries for next year's film festival, which takes place between 26 - 30 April, 2012 in Szombathely, Hungary.

Submissions are open to films of all genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, music video or other), of any length (both short and feature), from any nation of the world. All non-English films must have English subtitles.

The festival only screens 35mm, 16mm prints, Betacam SP, DVCAM, MiniDV or DVD in the competition programme.

The deadline for submissions is 10 January, 2012, but we kindly ask you to send your film in as soon as possible, rather than waiting until the deadline.
There is no entry fee.

The international jury will present one major award (independent of category), also category awards - like best youth film, best cinematographer, best actor, best editor, best sound, etc.
