Inspirationz is an arts company born in October 2012. It was founded by Sebulime Elisha Davis, a dance and media facilitator at In Movement: Art for Social Change in Uganda. Its original members are former students of In Movement who expressed a desire to grow as artists after their time at the organization.
The mission of Inspirationz is to develop versatile dancers with a professional mentality and a passion to use their skills to promote positive social change.
Our goals are to:
· Nurture and develop raw talent
· Introduce and teach technique of various dance styles to develop versatile dancers
· Develop a professional mentality for performance and instruction
· Build a sustainable, diversified career, including choreography, performance, instruction, and related professions such as photography, filmmaking, and graphic design
· Use Inspirationz as a platform for social responsibility and outreach programs
Activities
Training/Rehearsal
We train on Saturday and Sunday at In Movement: Art for Social Change, and on weekdays during school holidays. These rehearsals focus on various styles of dance, primarily contemporary, hip hop, ballet, salsa and African traditional dance. In addition we learn teaching techniques, choreography practices, and photography/filmmaking skills.
Our rehearsals are led primarily by members of Inspirationz. We frequently have guest dancers who volunteer to join our rehearsals and share their skills with us. These are dancers from the Norwegian Dance College and independent dancers from USA, Germany, France, and the Netherlands. Dance instructors from In Movement: Art for Social Change, Breakdance Project Uganda, and In Motion Dance Studio also teach at our rehearsals.

Future Plans
We will continue to nurture and develop the raw talent of our members to produce versatile and professional dance performers, teachers, and choreographers.
We will expand our performance market to increase our visibility, cultivate new connections to increase the number of dance classes we teach, and develop our skills in related multimedia fields.
We want to explore, create, and share to inspire life around us!
All exchanges and partnerships are welcome.
