La piccola Amira di 5 anni vive con la madre in un mini appartamento a Tunisi. A lei non piace andare a scuola e per evitare il suo insegnante noioso, dispotico, impaziente, e i suoi compagni della scuola coranica, mette a segno un'idea geniale, anche se pericolosa, per restare a casa.
