Tinga-Kapela is a group of young men from
the Seychelles inspired by Ting and other local
dance traditions. Ting is very similar to Capoeira
from Brazil and Africa. Accompanied by various
indigenous instruments the group invokes the past
though joyfully rooted in the present.
