synopsis
A young mulatto, Alfa, commits the irreparable by killing a drug dealer with whom he was in business. In a panic, he runs away to Senegal where live members of his family, which he has never met. The shock of his impromptu meeting with Africa is brutal. Alfa is completely out of phase, unable to find his landmarks. He has a strong feeling of rejection. By love for him, his cousin Mary, steals a car in her father's garage and proposes to drive Alfa to Guinea. He has no idea that he himself is the reason for her own escapade. They travel trough Senegal and guinea, making strange meetings, facing many adventures, looking for a river which turns out to be an imaginary one.
