In Lisbon there is a café with a life-size statue of Fernando Pessoa sitting on the terrace at a table. People pass by, look at it, touch it, joke, have their photograph taken and go away… The Portuguese poet lives again in the street, amidst passers-by and the sensitivity of a filmmaker who with exemplary lightness of tone, seizes the truth of gesture, the unrepeatable second that produces it and the depth of a thought evoked by images and words. the result is a luminous and hypnotic dance of the elements, which opens those images to other times and memories.
