Building on his signature, single-shot documentary style, Goma-based artist/activist/filmmaker Mugabo Baritegera presents a raw and personal portrait of Congo as he knows it. As Baritegera's camera sprawls its way through Goma's city streets and local hangouts, he injects the image with ad-lib narration and arrests the flow of reality with loosely choreographed set-pieces, asserting his vision of the psycho-social landscape of eastern Congo.
