September 1870, agricultural workers, fresh out of slavery, are suffering. Hard work, meager wages, injustices rumble with revolt in minds and hearts. The Lubin Affair is one more injustice, setting fire to the powder and a real insurrection started, starting from Rivière Pilote, and gradually reaching the communes of the South and then of the island. It is against this background of insurrection that a group of insurgents dreaming of non-violence decides to go into battle by laying down their arms and advancing towards the power held by the French authorities. This small group, believing they can influence the history and trajectory of the history of Martinique, will come together around songs, with the desire to be heard. Will this group of insurgents manage to achieve their objective?
