Parisian Paulele and her family are visiting their home village in Senegal when her father decides that they should stay permanently. Paulele travels to the city of Saint Louis to seek clarity amidst a clash of customs and values. Paulele is a 15 years old girl of Senegalese origin. She was born in Paris. Her familly leaves France for funerals of her grandmother. Once in Africa, ALIOU, her father decides to stay. He takes a second wife and wants to marry PAULELE to her cousin. PAULELE does not bear her father treason, she meets herself in front of a life which she had not envisaged.
