While hundreds of houses have already been completely swept away by the ocean, others still resist, like this solitary well, the only survivor of a house built in 2001. The sea advances, taking with it traces of the past in minds as well as in the landscape. Nature takes its course. What future for the Togolese coast? Will the miracle solution overcome the assault of the waves?

عندما تكون بعض المنازل قد جرفت من طرف المحيط، و أخرى لا زالت تقاوم، كما هذا البئر المعزول، الناجي الوحيد من منزل شيد سنة 2001. فإن المحيط يظل يتقدم جارفا معه أثار الماضي في النفوس كما في المناظر الطبيعية مسترجعا بذلك حقوق الطبيعة. فإن سؤال مستقبل ساحل الطوغو يصبح ملحا، فهل يكون الحل السحري قادر على التصدي لهجوم الأمواج؟
