The Bayimba regional festivals will be launched in Gulu on saturday 11th at the Tak centre, Organised by Bayimba foundation, the regional festivals seek to bring out the different arts and cultures in Uganda's four major centres, seek out New talent, and also act as a precursor to the Bayimba international festival in september.
The festival will feature traditional dancers from the six northern Uganda districts of Ayam, Kitgum, Nebbi, Pader, Nwooyo and Gulu with interludes of poetry, comedy, acrobatics, and symposiums.Entrance will be only 2k.
From Gulu the regional festivals will move to Fort portal 6 .June.2015, Mbale on the 4.July. and then the Bayimba international Festival of the Arts to be held at the National Theater on the 18 -20. Sept.2015.
