nsight Films is a production company created in 2014 by the morrocan filmmaker Asmae El Moudir.
The company produced Moroccan and international feature films, for cinema and TV, series, single dramas, web-docs, live performance recordings and magazines and numerous documentaries for TV channels of the Middle East and Maghreb such as SNRT, AlJazeera Documentary, BBC and Al Araby TV. The company also produced Asmae El Moudir's films.
Insightfilms aim to promote films that question contemporary themes and aesthetics, across fiction, documentary, and experimental idioms. Since its founding, the company has received support from Moroccan cinematographic center, the French Regional funds, the CNC's Video Innovation Fund, Writing and Music grants, IDFA Bertha Fund, Afac, Scam, IMS, Hot docs, Iles de France, Doha Film Institute or Red Sea Fund.
With their projects, they have been fellows at Eurodoc, Doha lab poducers, Sud Ecriture, Final cut in Venice, pitching du Réel, Atlas Marrakech workshop, JCC Chabaka, CineGouna Platform. Their films have been screened to IDFA, Visions du reel, Hot docs, Durban, Malmo, Marrakech, Tangier…
