Wendy Desert is a Haitian director, producer, and award-winning photographer. She studied filmmaking at the Cine Institute of Jacmel. Since then, she has directed and produced short films that have been screened at festivals and events across the Caribbean and internationally. She is a co-founder of the Nouvelles Vues Haïti international film festival.
