Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah is the Communications Specialist (at African Women's Development Fund, AWDF). She is the editor of AWDF's publication, ‘Women Leading Africa: Conversations with Inspirational African Women'. Prior to working at AWDF she was a leadership trainer with the Metropolitan Police Service in the U.K.

Nana Darkoa is passionate about social media and co-authors a blog on African women's diverse sexualities at www.adventuresfrom.com. She is the convenor of Fab Fem, a group of feminists who meet regularly in Accra. In March 2011, Nana was recognized by Arise magazine as one of Ghana's Change Makers.

Nana Darkoa is a trained facilitator, life/performance coach and an accomplished public speaker. Nana Darkoa holds a Diploma in Performance Coaching, a Certificate in Conflict Mediation and is a graduate of the University of North London with a BSc (Hons) in Communications and Cultural Studies and holds a MSc in Gender and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
