For its second edition, the jury of the Prix Traversées africaines has chosen Alex Ayivi, graduated from Beaux-arts Bourges and ENSAV La Cambre from among the many high-quality entries received since the call for projects was launched.

The artist whose project Artification was chosen by a qualified jury will be rewarded with an exhibition at the Mariton gallery in the city of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine in May 2025 during the Traversées africaines course and a grant to support artistic production and research of up to €3,000.

Since 2019, Pour l'art pour Afrique aims to bring contemporary artists from the African continent and its diaspora to the attention of a wide audience, through a range of actions designed to share a modern perspective on the culture and art of this continent, its diaspora and Afrodescendence.
