A free exhibition showcasing the journey of Inema Arts Center was the highlight of the day as the renowned art centre marked its third anniversary on Saturday.
People from all walks of life were visibly mesmerised by the paintings on display with price tags ranging from $150 (Rwf105,00) to $2000 (Rwf 1.4m).
Speaking passionately about their short but long journey, Emmanuel Nkuranga - one of the founders, said that they started the gallery in November 2012 with an aim of having creativity with a purpose. "Besides creating employment opportunities, we want to use art as Rwanda's treasure. We have to put a new face of creativity to the country's art," he said.
