In its mission of helping to promote the african contemporary art, the Blachère foundation awarded its price on Monday, November 9th, 2009 during the 8th Bamako Encouters.
The ceremony, in the presence of the great photographer Malick Sidibé, took place in the Aminata Traoré's Hampâté Bâ center.

With the cooperation of the Air France company and the laboratory HRA-Pharma, the Blachere corporate foundation awarded the young creation's price to Nestor Da (Burkina-Faso) who will get a six months residence in the prestigious of Arles' school of photography.
The five artists will be invited to exhibit their photographies at the Blachère Foundation art center, in Apt from October 28th, 2010 till January 16th, 2011.
They will also be invited to participate in a ten days workshop during spring, 2010, in association with Confluences Museum in Lyon.
