Onika Edwards is a professional makeup artist in Trinidad. Having lived in London for a number of years she returned to Trinidad to chart a new direction for her life. The new chapter she embarked on was about embracing her creative desire via Makeup Artistry.
Encouraged by her childhood friend to showcase her creative talent, Onika sought the knowledge and experience of world renowned makeup artist Mr. Ephraim Hunte . Under his direction she trained in Creative/ Carnival makeup as well as Bridal makeup artistry. She credits Mr. Hunte for nurturing her natural talent and for his continued support. Onika also holds a Bsc in Computing, MBA in International Business and is a certified Event Coordinator.
Her love for design, colour and the creative process have purposed her path on developing looks for the catwalk, photo-shoots, film, print & media etc. She has worked with a varied list of clientele from Actors to Soca Artistes, touching the faces of our iconic Fashion Designers. With a strong passion for film Onika holds three (3) IMDb Credits for 'A Story About Wendy', 'Escape from Babylon' and 'Jab in the Dark'.
