Marie Nick Mapai born August 24th 1990 is a Thespian from Papua New Guinea (PNG) who is currently employed as the Theater Events Coordinator for The Moresby Arts Theater under directions of Pascoe Promotions.
"The world of Theater has been destined for me when I entered The University of Papua New Guinea". During her four(4) years (2010-2013) of Theater studies, she majored Theater Production Management and graduated in 2014 with Bachelor of Arts.
During her studies at the University of Papua New Guinea, she was involved in Theater Productions and film making. She designed costumes and did make-up for "Twisted Fortune" production which was directed by the final year students of 2011, and became Production Manager and casted as Alives mother in the Theater Production "Alive" which was directed by Nadia Parascos and Peggy Titeri. She also casted as Vavine in the short film "Vavine's Curse" produced by the Media Technology students in 2010, and produced a short film titled 'Suicide' as an assessment whilst taking Media in 2013.
She says, "Theater is fun and would like to explore more".
