Kim is a Congolaise born, Italian-raised, New-Zealander independent - freelance film, television, and commercial Casting Director, executive director, talent agent, and expert in multicultural talents. Born at 12.00 AM on December 12th and he's the 8th of 12 children. Kim has had studied philosophy and theology at Pontificia Universitas Lateranensis in Rome( Italy ). He wanted to become a Catholic father/Priest. He started his career as an actor, in Rome and Vatican City, he changed his direction to more casting director, then he ended up specializing in ethnic casting becoming the main source in Rome, if not in Italy, for the casting of all sorts of ethnicity. He is a firm promoter of artistic integration with no room for racial discrimination! He worked with many well-known artists and directors among others: Spike Lee, Quincy Jones, Bernardo Bertolucci, Jay Bethea, Kadour Naimi, Véra Belmont, Cinthia Torrini, Cristina Comencini, Eugenio Capuccio, Paolo Virzi', Pupi Avati, Carlo e Enrico Vanzina, Manetti brothers, Giacomo Campiotti...and many more. In the year 1999, he founded "Malcolm X Casting" still to these days active in promoting multi-ethnicity in the Film Industry. He also has been, several times, an outstanding member of the jury for the Independent Rome Film Festival. In 2012 he moved to NZ with his family where he still operates in the industry as an international casting director. He is also the co-founder of the "Italian Kiwi Film Connectionz" joint-venture and the "CongoSet" pre-production service focused to shoot in Congo.
